The Orchard Town Center Has Quietly Become a Place to Spend an Evening

October 22, 2026

At 5 p.m. on a weeknight, two of The Orchard Town Center's newest businesses are doing the opposite of each other. Texas de Brazil is unlocking its doors for its first seating of the day. Elsewhere in the center, Postino WineCafe is about to end its daytime deal on $6 glasses of wine.

That hour is a good place to start, because most of what has opened at I-25 and 144th Avenue since 2025 works on an evening or appointment schedule. The Orchard's newer tenants include a dinner-only steakhouse, a wine café with a late-night bottle deal, a golf simulator suite you can book around the clock, an infrared sauna studio, and a theater company's month-long immersive show. For people in north Westminster who think of The Orchard as a place to return something at Macy's, the center now offers more to do after dark than it did two years ago.

What Opened in 2025 Set the Pattern

The current lineup started building last year. In a June 2026 roundup, ColoradoBiz listed the center's 2025 openings: Postino WineCafe, Swing 365 Golf, Rack Room Shoes, P.F. Chang's, Men's Wearhouse and MINISO.

Half of that list is ordinary retail. The other half changed how long a visit can last.

Postino Westminster sits at 14588 Delaware St. Its standing offers are built around the clock: $6 wine glasses and $6 beer pitchers every day until 5 p.m., and a $25 bottle-and-bruschetta board after 8 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. Most of the area's happy hours are aimed at the after-work crowd. This one also rewards showing up late on the two slowest nights of the week.

P.F. Chang's added a full-service dinner option at 14416 Delaware St.

Swing 365 Golf at 14964 Orchard Parkway, Suite 800, runs on the loosest schedule in the center. It's a private, members-only indoor studio with a Full Swing simulator, 65 courses, and 24/7 access. It isn't a walk-in bar with hitting bays, and its own page calls the offering "JUST GOLF." For a member, a 9 p.m. round in January is the same as one in July.

2026 Added Appointments to the Mix

This year's first wave went further in the same direction. According to ColoradoBiz, four tenants opened in the first part of 2026:

  • goGLOW, sunless tanning and skincare, opened in February
  • Facial Aesthetics, a Colorado-based clinic offering Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments and facials, opened in March
  • Macy's Backstage, an off-price section inside the existing Macy's with apparel, home goods, beauty products and accessories, opened in March
  • Perspire Sauna Studio, private infrared sauna sessions, opened in April

Three of those four are services you book in advance. A sauna session or a facial is something you schedule around a dinner reservation or a workout, and that kind of visit fills a different part of the day than a quick stop for socks.

Vestar co-owns The Orchard with TriGate Capital and manages and leases the property. Vestar's vice president of leasing, Taylor Alvey, described the plan to ColoradoBiz: "The Orchard is designed to be a place where visitors can shop, relax and discover something new each time they come. Every new addition helps create an environment that blends retail, wellness and lifestyle experiences for the community." Shopping still comes first in that quote. Most of the new businesses are aimed at the "relax" part.

Texas de Brazil Arrived on a Dinner-Only Clock

This fall's biggest opening shows the evening shift most clearly. Texas de Brazil announced its Westminster restaurant in an October 9, 2026 release describing tableside-carved churrasco, a salad area with more than 50 items, and a wine and cocktail list. The brand's location page lists it at 14644 Orchard Pkwy and marks it "Now Open."

9News reported that it's the chain's third Colorado restaurant, filling 6,205 square feet after a renovation of just over $5 million. The release lists no lunch service. These are the dinner hours it published:

Day Texas de Brazil hours
Monday–Thursday 5–9 p.m.
Friday 5–10 p.m.
Saturday 4–10 p.m.
Sunday 4–9 p.m.

The earliest Saturday seating is 4 p.m. If you want lunch near 144th, P.F. Chang's and the other restaurants along Delaware St. are still your options. The one exception on the calendar is Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26. The restaurant's location page says it will open at 11 a.m. that day, serving its dinner menu and pricing along with some holiday classics.

The Show That Proved the Point

For most of October, The Orchard also hosted live theater. Boulder's The Catamounts opened their Season 16 with SIP, an immersive drink-tasting performance by Culture House Immersive. It ran October 2–25 at 14694 Orchard Pkwy, Suite 100, with shows Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. Tickets were $35 and included drink tastings.

That run is over. The Catamounts' season announcement lists their next production, the world premiere of The Couches, at the Dairy Arts Center from April 4–25, 2027. SIP still mattered. For four weekends, a storefront at a suburban shopping center held a 7:30 p.m. show with a drink in hand, which is about as clear an example of evening use as a retail space can give.

The Daytime Additions Are Smaller and Sweeter

Not every newcomer is built for after dark. Three smaller food tenants cover daytime and dessert.

  • Donutsville posted a grand opening for its Orchard kiosk on October 17 at 10 a.m., at 14697 Delaware St. next to 3 Margaritas, and The Orchard's homepage now lists it as "Now Open."
  • MilkShake Factory, a dessert shop, lists 14663 Orchard Parkway, Suite 500, as "Coming Soon!" on its location page.
  • CHICHA San Chen, a Taiwanese tea shop, announced on its Orchard tenant page that it plans to open its first Colorado location at the center.

In June, ColoradoBiz expected both MilkShake Factory and CHICHA San Chen to open in the second quarter of 2026. Neither has posted an opening date yet, so treat both as coming soon. Once they open, the center will have a donut kiosk, a milkshake counter and a tea shop. Those fit well before or after a dinner reservation, and they give families with kids a reason to stop by that doesn't involve a steakhouse.

A Weeknight at The Orchard, Using Only What's Open Now

Here's how the current lineup fits into one evening, using the hours and deals listed above:

  1. Before 5 p.m. Get a $6 glass of wine or a $6 beer pitcher at Postino before the daytime deal ends.
  2. Early evening. Book a private infrared session at Perspire Sauna Studio, or a goGLOW or Facial Aesthetics appointment, if you're making it a self-care night.
  3. Dinner. Texas de Brazil opens at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. P.F. Chang's on Delaware St. is the other sit-down choice.
  4. After 8 p.m. on a Monday or Tuesday. Head back to Postino for the $25 bottle-and-bruschetta board.
  5. Any hour. Swing 365 members can book the simulator suite whenever they want, since access runs 24/7.

You could have strung together some of this two years ago. Most of it is new since 2025.

Winterfest Is the Next Thing to Watch

The Orchard's holiday kickoff is the next scheduled event, and the 2026 date isn't posted yet. The center's events page still shows October listings. Last year's Winterfest was on November 15, 2025, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. It included Santa's arrival, free Santa photos, and the center's first tree lighting, with a countdown at 5:05 p.m.

The tree went up right around sunset last year, too. Check The Orchard's events page in early November for this year's date.
